Biography

Guo Xiaoshuang, Attending Physician in Craniomaxillofacial Surgery. Ph.D., Peking Union Medical College and Plastic Surgery Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. He has been engaged in clinical work for more than ten years (2013 to present) and has a strong understanding of aesthetic differences between Eastern and Western perspectives. He performs plastic and aesthetic surgery with a philosophy of natural results and minimally invasive techniques.

Education: Admitted by recommendation to the combined Master's-Ph.D. program at Peking Union Medical College. During his studies, he received the First-Class Scholarship of Peking Union Medical College and the honors of Outstanding Graduate Student and Outstanding Graduate. Funded by the China Scholarship Council, he pursued joint training at Duke University, USA. In 2018, he received the Second Prize at the Third National Graduate Academic Paper Competition of the Plastic Surgery Society; in 2019, he received the Second Prize at the 11th Song Ruyao Plastic Surgery Young Physicians Forum; and in 2020, he received the honor of Outstanding Graduate of Peking Union Medical College.
Professional Experience: After completing his Ph.D., he stayed on at the hospital. He successively trained at the Craniomaxillofacial Center, Rhinoplasty Center, and Breast Surgery Center of the Plastic Surgery Hospital, accumulating extensive clinical experience. He has published more than ten original articles in high-quality international SCI-indexed journals and keeps abreast of new developments and technologies in Eastern and Western plastic and aesthetic surgery.
